Passion Project: Rebranding
I pioneered a major overhaul of our entire website and identity. By spearheading our rebranding with a more modern, professional identity, I was able to increase our rush applicants by 20% this semester alone and double our social media following on Instagram.
I developed a new website, created branding guidelines for future marketing chairs for a consistent look, and brought in new, creative designs that the chapter had never seen before that was met with widespread positivity. I set colors, fonts, made logos, flyers, and a visual language that I thought communicated our business professionalism yet also had some playful character and exciting gold elements that showcased our nature of the fraternity. I also promoted rush events with marketing materials drawing 150+ interested students each semester. Last fall we had virtual recruitment for the first time, so I poured my efforts into making a professional marketing video that gained widespread popularity across multiple chapters on our Instagram.

Designing for
Social Impact
In partnership with our chapter's Vice President of Philanthropy, along with the marketing materials I designed (on the left), I also illustrated stickers and masks that I then advertised to AKPSI chapters across the nation. In light of the 2020 election, George Floyd, and the Covid-19 crisis, I created a line of stickers to use my art to help make a monetary impact that could be used to donate to a cause supporting racial equity. Our fundraiser garnered attention from the national headquarters and was featured on their national newsletter encouraging other chapter support.
We raised more than $150 just on sticker and mask sales alone, an impressive feat for stickers priced at $1.50. We decided to donate to Forward through Ferguson, which "centers impacted communities and mobilizes accountable bodies to advance racially equitable systems." Particularly with our close proximity to Ferguson, we felt it was important as St. Louis residents to aid the immediate community in our environment.
Apparel Designs
I designed a set of apparel for the chapter every semester. Working in contact with either UniversityTees or FreshPrints, a college campus apparel company, they transfer my designs onto printed products. I then manage and oversee the distribution of the goods, often hand-delivering each product to the chapter members.
I learned that it is best to select and offer products at multiple price ranges so that there is something for everyone should they choose to purchase. For example, this semester I had a high-quality hoodie for $54, a nice sweatshirt for $35, joggers for $30, a T-shirt for $25, and stickers or key-chains for less than $10.
